| We collect nonperishable food donations from the congregation during all three services on the first Sunday of each month to give to the Food Pantry at the Christian Services Center in Ocoee. Additionally, several people serve by tutoring low-income children, and serving the Daily Bread free lunches during the first week of every month at the center. |

| Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat is founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent, affordable place to live in dignity and safety. |
| Members from Church of the Messiah team up with other people in the community to dedicate there efforts and talents to help build homes for those in need. |
