MEN@MESSIAH
Proper 28 (BCP p. 236)
Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant us so to hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
2 Tim. 3:16-17:
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
Join our Men of Messiah Monday evenings at 5:15pm in the Parish Hall. 2nd Mondays will meet in the Library.
Learn the Bible and how to apply it to our lives, and to get to know each other better. All you’ll need is a Bible- any translation will work. And maybe a notebook and pen.
Each week will look at the readings set for the upcoming Sunday. No homework–we’ll read and discuss each of the readings aloud and talk about what they mean and what we might do about them. We’ll also have a brief time for prayer.
